Fathers Day at Kindy

John spent a few hours at Kindy on fathers day morning with Haven. They painted pictures together, did crafts and had morning tea. A lovely time was had by all. Daddy and Haven also went to Cirque de Soleil- Varakei (ok-mommy tagged along!) which was Daddy's father's day present.

Lancelin Road Trip

Tuesday morning the kids and I decided to go on an adventure and drove north out of town a few hours and ended up in the sleepy town of Lancelin. It is known for its gorgeous sand dunes and strong winds. People head here to windsurf, kitesurf, 4x4 and sandboard. We went to the park and played at the beach. It was a lovely spring day...

Kings Park Wildflower Festival

Perth is a city full of festivals. Right now it is the wildflower season and Kings Park is on fire with beautiful flowers. These ones came home and got put in a vase. They were bought- not picked. Check out http://www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/ for more details. We LOVE Kings Park.

Back in Oz

After 40 hours plus of travel we were very happy to be on solid ground. We left Fernie Friday morning and were on our plane from Calgary at about 6PM. We had a few delays- one out of SanFran and then there was fog in Sydney so we were re-routed to another city (escapes me right now-maybe Brisbane?)...anyway- we made it!

Back at home we are enjoying the great weather. As you can see by the picture of Haven on her new trail-a-bike our house has sold- so we are on the lookout for a new one.

Fernie Friends

We stayed at a chalet in Fernie for 3 nights. There were 12 adults and 12 kids...relaxing. Haven was the oldest and the youngest was Griffin Chapman at13 months old. We had a great time. The kids all got along great as did the adults. The girls got some mountain biking and shopping in and the guys did some rides and runs. The little ones had fun going on nature walks and frog hunts and spent HOURS in the "warm tub".

Andrew & Reba's Wedding/Laurier Lake

Off to the lake for fun times! Lots of visiting with friends and family...and of Course Andrew and Rebecca's wedding. The wedding day was gorgeous and the wedding itself simple, sentimental and lovely. There were beautiful white tents set up with fairy lights, orchids, white linens...you get the picture. It was like an Oprah Garden party...I am sure andrew planned it that way. There were no funnels and andrew kept his panties on- so a great time was had by all.

The kids had so much fun at the wedding and at grandma & papas lake...

E-Town

After arriving in Calgary we spent a few days in Edmonton visiting with friends and family. We went for a few tours on papa deweys river boat down the north saskatchewan and had dinner with some friendly friends...

Viva Canada

Well 5 weeks came and went like that! We had a great time and are back "home" over the jet lag and back to reality it seems...

In canada we managed to see everyone we wanted to see, go everywhere we wanted to go and overall loved being back in Canada. It is strange that as everyone goes into fall we are gearing up for summer. It's a hard life sometimes...

Prince Bronson had 3 parties for his third birthday. The first was at Riley park in calgary with his calgary buddies, the second in Edmonton at Grandma & pappas, and the third was at the lake. His lake birthday party was shared with cousin Jazzy who turned 15-yikes! John spent the first week in North America in Houston taking a course so was only in attendence at the third party...
